About our school

Willawarrin Public School is situated 30km from Kempsey, drawing students from a widespread community within a 40km radius. Children come from various family backgrounds and lifestyles. Isolation from town is a relevant factor in the school community. 

Willawarrin Public School endeavours to create a safe, caring school environment in which students are nurtured as they develop academic, social, physical and living skills, and participate in a wide range of cultural experiences. This is achieved through teaching/learning experiences in the six Key Learning Areas (KLAs), and the implementation of the Student Welfare Policy. The school's mission statement is to facilitate lifelong quality educational programs for each child, through developing academic skills, citizenship and social skills to reflect "Pride and Friendship." 

The school is well resources with latest literature and numeracy facilities, with latest technology, expansive school grounds and sporting equipment. 

The school soccer team were State Champions in the Small Schools Division in 2011.
