Willawarrin Public School is situated 30km from Kempsey, drawing students from a widespread community within a 40km radius. Children come from various family backgrounds and lifestyles. Isolation from town is a relevant factor in the school community.
Willawarrin Public School endeavours to create a safe, caring school environment in which students are nurtured as they develop academic, social, physical and living skills, and participate in a wide range of cultural experiences. The school soccer team were State Champions in the Small Schools Division in 2011.
